Stay Put Poem by Scarborough Gypsy

Stay Put

Rating: 3.2

Where are the friends that I once had,
Scattered and lost, it seems so sad,
Some I’ve trusted and been scarred,
Some stabbed me in the back real hard,
Some have moved or gone away,
Others couldn’t make me stay,
Now a hand full is all I have,
I guess that isn’t all that bad,
But sometimes I am so alone,
And I’m unsure of where is home,
So just for now I’ll stay right here,
And maybe wait another year.

To strike me as a free spirit Gypsy, can't have been nice to have been trapped like that. Moyaxx

This is a moving poem. I can sense your lonliness, almost abandonment (question mark, my keyboard
