God Our Creator Poem by Rhodesse Fanche

God Our Creator

When life gets too hard and you feel down,
Where can you find comfort, a way to feel better?
When you feel surrounded by problems,
Who can you turn to in your darkest moments?

When the pain is too much to bear,
Who can give you comfort, a love that is better than anything?
Carrying anger, frustration, and sadness,
Whose advice can you seek, with their special wisdom?

Have you thought about the one who won't make fun of you,
When you feel sad even when others are laughing?
Have you considered the one who won't leave you,
When others abandon you and leave you feeling alone?

God, who is always there, will never leave you.
He fixes the broken, and comforts every heart.
He wraps up your wounds, with gentle care,
Healing the brokenhearted, a love that is better than anything.

If you try to fix a bicycle in a car garage,
It won't work, you don't have the right parts.
Sometimes the mechanic doesn't have the right skills,
Think about where you can find the answers you need.

Stop looking for comfort from those who are also broken,
Because they have their own scars, and things they don't talk about.
Stop rushing to places that can't give you peace,
Turn to God, the Creator, who can make all your troubles go away.

Because He knows you deeply, even before you were born,
He has the power to make you feel valuable again.
With lots of extra parts, His hands can fix you,
Making you whole, and taking away your brokenness.

When hope seems hard to find, and the road ahead is long,
Turn to God's Word, where you can find restoration.
Go now, with faith as your guide,
God is waiting, ready to make your spirit shine.
