Still Water Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Still Water

Don't wait for still water to go dry
Never let ill feelings, wander
Keep the thoughts that make us wonder
Will true love I ever find

It seems the world has lost the luster
Diner never comes, at five
No one cares when we are hurting
They're only there for the good times

I hope to find someone to remember
After life's road brings us to our ending lines
Sometimes you know the answer
Before you live life past the time

When no rain stops a river from flowing
There is a darkness found inside
No warm feeling to keep on, holding
No more lips to kiss Goodnight

Yesterday we'll, have the answer
Until tomorrow takes our dreams away
All the love that made it happen
Leaves a feeling here to stay

Maybe the river has to, still
And then still water must also change
Leaving chance for a new beginning
Maybe life is lived, this way
