Stone Castles
Everything breaks apart-
Fair or unfair,
A moment of confusion,
Maybe a step late,
And everything there was
Might get seized
And sure it will hurt.
All those daydreams,
All those lazy hours,
All the locks and hacks,
Check out at last,
And everything we built
Comes breaking apart.
I guess that's life-
That only we can be responsible,
Maybe only we can build it again,
And this time with care;
A sand castle falls down
Just a wave, all it takes;
So now a stone one maybe
We have to dream again.

I've been rather irregular on Poemhunter these last couple months. Going through a transitional state actually, both on my writing & social life.As for not reading other's poems here, I am focusing more on books & sorts rather than webbased activities.
