Story Of A Miracle Poem by Otha Gwabe

Story Of A Miracle

History has been made
Light brought among the shade
A smile among frowns
Instead of silence, there's many sounds

Showing us the way
Giving hope everyday
Gentle as a lamb
Has horns of a ram

Sees nothing but all
Joy stands tall
Heard many cries
Oh, how time flies

An angel from above
Full of motherly love
A mind biologist
What's it called… oh a psychologist

Always full of fun
But that time is done
To a new place to go
Allow new seeds to grow

Memories won't dissolve
Love that evolves
Say a roar of congratulations
Make it back for our graduation

Taught the past, but has a future
Built with good power
Said hello for the first time
Said goodbye for the last time

We are here at this bend
Knowing it's the end
Fly little bird, don't roam
Find a place you call home
