I look at myself now
I see my life before me
I see many taking a bow
I know it wasn't supposed to be

Many ago I was in pain
Losing my life that I never gained
Now I know that I was to go
That I was to die a long time ago

Fell to spikes below
But my boat of life still rows
I was lost for a few years
Slowly dying it was clear

But then I was found
New hope I had now bound
I look back
I see I was meant to be off track

I have lost so much
I am supposed to be dust
Look and watch
I'm about collapse and burst

I see that many ago I was in pain
