Stream Of Life Poem by David Hayes

Stream Of Life

Life is a stream but it flows like a river
With torrents and rapids that will soon make you shiver
Some learn to swim but the rest all just drown
Sinking and choking, never to be found

They live their lives with no sense of fun
Working and sweating but they never get done
They don't get out, have fun, or play
They just let the stream push them far far away

Great poem, it's the harsh reality of life.
