I am stronger than the tornado
that destroyed my childhood home.
I am stronger than the seasons
that passed me on the road to nowhere.
I am stronger than the heartbreak
that often crept into my life.
I am as strong as steel,
I am as stolid as stone.
I have seen it all, and done it all,
and soon death may take my soul.
But it will never defeat me.
I will be a part of the sun and the rain,
within the heartbeat of the forest,
in the pulse of the wildest river.
I will soar with the eagle and the hawk.
Where the deer roams, I yet will be.
I glow in the coals of the winter hearth.
I flash in the lightning of summer winds.
I am stronger than the mystery of stars.
A man's strength cannot be defeated. This poem reminds me of Hemingway's words, A man can be destroyed but not defeated. This poem is such an amazing reflection of inner power that it has left me speechless. A10
Near the end of a marathon, one will either collapse or find new strength. Thank you for the appreciative comment.

I would like to translate this poem
I felt part of the cosmos that surrounds us, an eliment of the universe itself, a small unit of the eternity we live in.
Very good, that's what I was aiming for. Thanks.
