Strumming Mandarins Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Strumming Mandarins

Ancient melodies from around the world,
beating incessantly with a gentle
strumming of a mandarin.
Frolicking and dancing on a stage,
women addressing themselves to harmonies.
Reaching for notes as they fall and drop
into buckets of rhythm.
