Sublime Poem by Kasia Fedyk

Sublime

Rating: 1.6

I lay on the grain of sorrow,
consuming me to the very core,
the river runs clean, purifying my soul, softly washing it away,
harsh the reality,
sublime the silence,
beautiful mind at peace,
whisper of the heart,
oh, heart of mine, be gentle to me, no pain come,
I am to weak to feel your strength,
mesmerized by your subtle touch, amazed by your beauty.

The gentle flow reaching some parts I still can't remember,
or is it that I just don't want to?

He whispers in a gentle voice,
he doesn't understand, how can he?
how can you say you know,
have your eyes settled and reached into mine so deeply that you become me,
have you taken a deep breath inhaling mine and living the breath I breathe, have you touched my hand and upon meeting felt it melt into mine so completely, feeling, living the sensation of my every pulse, expending and contracting,
have you walked upon the streets I have walked every day,
have you lived inside me for just a fragment of time,
for what lays there no one knows, do you? tell me? tell me it is so;
For I am the only one who stands alone,
Alone I stand on the bridge dividing the seen and unseen.
