Sub-Zero Poem by Nate Tulay

Sub-Zero

Rating: 5.0

And so yes, my love,
she too died between the days she met him,
and the day he got reborn somewhere else!

For the past was also a double-edged blade,
a constant reminder of all she could have had,
and all she lost!

And I think that is why she could not forgive
the past, or see beyond her own pain and
self-interest at times.

And so yes,
she also lived as if life was beyond unbearable
for her, in spite of her being one of the many
direct descendants of the FALSE and Limited Gods!

(And so)
she too was blind to the fact that her
selfish desire for him, was what was in
the way of her finding love again.

And that was why,
she couldn't see that he left behind the
true reflections of himself, or an infinite
amount of lovers to heal her wounds;

and so yes, even his absence was not
painful or lonely enough to let him go.

(And that is why)
they still say death is a double-edged blade,
and that it is impossible to get over him.

'Sub-Zero, Part 2'

(And that is why)
they still say death is a double-edged blade,
and that it is impossible to get over him.

and so yes, even his absence was not
painful or lonely enough to let him go.

And that was why,
she couldn't see that he left behind the true
reflections of himself, or an infinite amount
of lovers to heal her wounds.

(And so)
she too was blind to the fact that her
selfish desire for him, was what was
in the way of her finding love again.

And so yes,
she also lived as if life was beyond
unbearable for her, in spite of her being
one of the many direct descendants of
the FALSE and Limited Gods!

And I think that is why she could not
forgive the past, or see beyond her
own pain and self-interest at times.

For the past was also a double-edged
