“I do not want to die” she held my hand firmly
I could see pain in her eyes strongly
She was frightened with fear of departure
Death for her was not very far
I could hardly stop the tears
Her words were knocking in ears
“When will you come”? She may ask often
I will smilingly look back and shake hand even
Such were the happy days
Children were making it hay days
We wee a happy family and union
She was my best and reliable companion
She stood like firm rock
Always happy and cutting jokes
She will never offend but submit
To whatever proposal I felt fit
Such soul was in pain today
She had hidden desire on the way
She wanted more time with family
But alas! It was not agreed to by almighty
Her words pierced through
I was out of sense and felt enough
She will be on the way to freedom
I shall be crying here for her seat in heaven
I feel no other go
It will be terrific blow
To me in person and to family in particular
The lose may be felt by all similarly
