Such things hurt
Tuesday,14th May 2019

People come and go
but show
their disregard
and exchange bitter words

what do we remember?
and offer
our sincere gratitude
for their attitude

they may hurt
with their curt replies
and sometimes hurl
the abuses in turn

such things hurt us more
but we feel no sore
as it is their nature
and we can't carry it further

the moment you think
and sink
yourself with heavy feelings
you remain no more good human being

so leave behind
and find
a new one with equal symphony
who treats you equally
