Suffering - To - Attain- Joy
Just as Paul patterned
himself on Christ,
so these dear believers
patterned their lives
on the men who brought
them the gospel,
who were imitating
the lovely Lord Jesus.
Just as Christ suffered
on our account,
for the joy that was
set before Him,
so we are to suffer
for His sake for
the joy we find in Him.
