eleven members die
hands tied, their eyes blindfolded
hung - were their thoughts dire?
One was to be soon wedded
Some kids too- had they concurred?
In capital's heart
any occult ritual?
improbable sort
truly.bizarre and cruel-
conducting their own trial

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A family of eleven- including an old lady, an young lady to be married soon and a few small children, and some men- all were found dead by hanging simultaneously from rods in the ceiling, hands tied and blindfolded. It appears the male head of the family had some strange thoughts and was behind this mysterious incidents-a suicide plot, perhaps? In the heart of Delhi.Family didn't appear to be having financial worries. The young lady soon to be married was planning her shopping and was quite excited too!
