Summer Again Poem by Dorsey Baker

Summer Again

Saliva
upon the tongue
hard to taste
the sweet aroma
of summer time
in the breeze
every flower
wants to bloom
and as
the rain falls
birds gather upon
the fence
engaged in a
beautiful song
happiness
in their voices
as they sing
they know
its summer again!
