Summer Flowers, Thundered Down On Poem by james watkin

Summer Flowers, Thundered Down On

To these excesses
Of temperament
Vile-sounding, unshockable
Nerve traits grate on
A sky's, not the frailest one
Dismayed, there lent.

Appealed to, in fact.
With blush renewed.
Hope-drooped girls, with all their soft
Beguiling might.
See them, through which manly sight
Storm-raised, as rescued.
