Summer's Here Poem by Shaun Cronick

Summer's Here

Rating: 5.0

Today was way too hot,
Even in the sheltered shade.
Trying hard to keep cool,
Wishing the heat would fade.

Not a hint of a breeze,
To bring merciful relief.
Tonight will be murder,
Trying to get to sleep.

Summer's here,
And here it stays.
This summer sun,
And unforgiving rays.
