Sun. Poem by M G

Sun.

Honestly, I used to love the Sun.
I thought they used to look so pretty.
When I told you i wasn't ready yet-
You said it was alright
You let me live in the city.
You were amazed by the lights.

I showed you my life.
I Showed you my world.
Just for you to take it and throw it away.
But You Did This For A Reason.

You showed me more then the city and the lights
You showed me the people and the emotions.
You showed me love.
You showed me beauty.
You showed me how to love.
You showed me how to love myself.

But…

You also showed me hate.
You also showed me the ugliness.
You also showed me how to hate myself.
You showed me how to forget.
You showed me how to push things so deep down once they find their way back up to the top they were so shocked because they forgot what the sun looked like.

I hate the sun.
It's always there even when you don't want it to be.
It's always there when it's not needed.
I hate the sun.
When it rises it brings a new day.
When it rises it brings new things to say.
When it rises it brings new ideas.
When it rose. It brought you.
I hate the sun.
