Sun Falls Asleep Upon The Water Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sun Falls Asleep Upon The Water

Soothing waves of calm washing silently over imagination as
it surfs upon waves of an interior ocean filled with many
surprises and mysteries.

Calling to mind splendid times in the past, walking along
sandy shores quietly looking out to the horizon as the sun
falls asleep upon the water.

So tired from its day of work, settling into a complacent
state of mind that fascinates intellect and sparks embers
of passion and delight in the fading light.
