Sun Filled Memories Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Sun Filled Memories

As daytime closes into night,
When birds roost in the branches tight,
My thoughts turn to the day it's been,
Of summer sun in natures scene.
The hour has come to close my eyes,
To dream of sun filled glorious skies,
Of splendid days just spent with you,
Those garden flowers touched by dew.
Life has changed so much since then,
Will we meet one day again?
Maybe in my dreams who knows,
Missing you from head to toes.
Roses bloom i think of you,
Those precious flowers glazed with dew,
You were my life,
you'll always be,
From here on to eternity.
