Sun Setting, Holding Onto Every Precious Moment Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sun Setting, Holding Onto Every Precious Moment

Tables standing around on a patio, waiting to be of service to
people, letting them have their lunch or dinner while sitting at them.

Now evening, umbrellas opened wide above to keep the sun from beating upon those eating below it, but now that it's evening the sun has gone further down, just above the horizon.

Taking its time, holding onto every precious moment that it's here,
minds traveling to its edge and having to let go as it finds its way into another place far away.

titillating its entire essence, waking people up so they can get their daily word done, taking care of children, getting them to school, going to work, shipping and whatever else needed to be done.
