Sunshine Shivers Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Sunshine Shivers

Sunshine shivers, dream beams trembling,
rays no longer play dissembling
game as aim, attention drawn
elsewhere, prepares destruction's dawn.

Thought coherent tries assembling
last will codicil remembering
fractal flashback frames, must mourn
rash behaviour, cash withdrawn.

Hope's embers' snuffed, tough luck dismembering,
past's grasp with last gasp sucked Septembering,
disappointments multiform
pointless pages from life torn.

Ambitions rotten, faith forgotten,
scatterbrained scarecrow, stretched, shroud cotton.
