Suppose For A Moment Poem by L MILTON HANKINS

Suppose For A Moment

Rating: 5.0

Suppose for a moment you were as rich as Croesus
Wise as Solomon, had the strength of Samson
Suppose you were as a Hollywood star handsome
Could you live in the world with the rest of us?

Suppose for a moment you were as strong as Atlas
Courageous as Daniel, had the mind of an Einstein
With the most powerful kings and presidents dine
Could you live in the world with the rest of us?

Which just goes to show that we are best as we are
Not so rich, not so wise, not so courageous, or smart
Not so handsome or powerful, simply have a good heart
I would rather be just as I am right now, by far.

Never will I trade my persona with anybody else. May it be the strongest, the wittiest man in this world. Lovely poem.5***
