SweEt From SweAt

The bitter truth on the street
Adding salt to injury in the heat
Is that those beads of salty water
Oozing out when you are hotter

On your brow
Your palm
On faces
And hidden places

Making you sticky
Making life tricky
Are precursors to a good life
Even better if you work day and night

Giving of your best
Being number one in the contest
Changing your grades from Cs and Bs to A
Everyday

As you work
Sweet comes from sweat.
To have that sweet.
That's all there is to it

Bring your A to the game
You will never be the same
Work turns sweet from sweat
