Sweet Girl



To the girl of such sweetest dreams
Tonight I may dream of you
Whisper your name in hope
You may one day whisper mine
I close my eyes and picture
In black and white movie scenes
Our kiss and conversation
I long to avoid the cliché
The obvious and routine
Yet I dream of you my sweet
In the constant hope
You may dream the same of me
