Sweet Muse - Poem by Sophia White

Sweet Muse, my love,
Draw near to me
Lend me all thy prowess.

Sweet Muse, so fair,
Dally not away
But place thine hand in mine.

Sweet Muse, dear heart,
Succomb to me
And lay thy heart with me.

Sweet Muse, go not,
But linger still
Grant me all thou knowest.

Sweet Muse, sit down,
And stay awhile
Whisper in my ear.

Sweet Muse, my love,
My essential one,
Be near, always, be near.
