Sweet, Not Sticky Poem by gershon hepner

Sweet, Not Sticky

Money’s always very sweet,
but may be less than sticky,
yet when your partner gets a treat,
because you’ve not been picky,
and takes half of your assets by
divorcing you, you’ll be
far better off than men who buy
into a fund whose fee
is minimal until the Feds
find out the scheme was Ponzi,
removing yarmulkes from heads,
Manhatted far from Monsey.

Divorce will only clean you out
of half of what you’ve got,
but Ponzi schemes, without a doubt,
will make you think of Lot,
who lost it all in Sodom, and
could not reclaim in court
a penny, and sought, cap in hand,
from daughters his support.
The only good news is that he
had no need to divorce
his wife, who turned to salt to be
spouse innocent, of course.
Inspired by the news of the $92 million divorce settlement a British court awarded Guy Richie in his divorce settlement with Madonna, who kicked off her latest tour—'Sticky and Sweet'—in Cardiff, Wales, on Aug.23. and is now performing in Brazill, recouping her losses, Madonna’s divorce settlement pales into insignificance compared with the shande caused by Bernard Madoff and the powerful people whom he derauded in his Ponzi scheme.
