Sweet Truth Poem by Mohammad Younus

Sweet Truth

Sweet truth—
A solace, unveiling what was hidden,
Grips tight my soul and heart.
You know… I just don't care
for anything but sweet truth.

No remorse, no regret—
I tread this rugged, uphill ascent.
Sincere love does not crumble,
Not when shattered or torn.
You know… I just don't care
for anything but sweet truth.

I sit silent in sacred stillness,
Guarding mysteries long concealed.
My heart beats on in quiet ecstasy—
Bitter lies could not fracture my love.
You know… I just don't care
for anything but sweet truth.

Sweet truths, a flood of inspiration,
Euphoria cascading like sunlight.
For these gifts, I bow in gratitude—
Your presence renews them within me.
You know… I just don't care
for anything but sweet truth.

Sweet truth or bitter truth?
I no longer divide them.
Bitter truths, with time—
reveal their sweetness,
Their essence forever unchanged.
"It prevails—it won't fade.
Open the windows,
Let its light pour through."
You know… I just don't care
for anything but sweet truth.
