Sweet Words Freshly Banked - Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

who wrote
a few poems out
over politic

years?

had a few hundred
lost
so replaced what?

written
is what?

meaning
is what?

it is
a language
few

know
or care
about

but I can pulse play
it like a fiddle
or a maestro violin

if I write
political
I can hit

raw nerves
so have been
quiet lately

anyone
for rag time
banker tune?

guaranteed
government
misdeed bail out?

bankers get bonus
politicians a back hander
plot bury dirt poor

how about
speculation
middle east

oil?

betting on futures
old buddy Gaddafi
your out bad boy

Libyan oil is in
renegotiated deal
new rebel alliance

for empire
Libyan Chinese
oil contract

guillotined
new management
no fly zone
