Sympathetically Inspired Poem by james watkin

Sympathetically Inspired

Rating: 5.0

Of this great swelling, Love's rarefied
Feeling nature o'ermasters
Does self lose its everyday bearings;
In focusing on others.

Like that of which skied calmness within
Blown off some height, unannounced
For mountaineer. Though to his death falls
Sees life's pith more pronounced.

I wonder if every living person sees life's pith on their death bed? Too late then unless one is betting on reincarnation or a paradise in the sky.
