T Redbird Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

T Redbird

The early bird's gone,
T. Rex was his name,
Ancestor of birds,
Of all hues and songs,
Quaint to imagine!

Hummingbirds gay,
Lost in the blooms,
Chatting macaws,
And wise old owls.

The pride of,
Yesterday,
Beauty lives,

In trees,
So green,

Now.
