Tagore Song (#126) Soul-Burning Fire Of Songs Will Be Here Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (#126) Soul-Burning Fire Of Songs Will Be Here

(kanna hasir doldolano poyus faguner pala)

Is this why Thou offered me?
Garland soaked in spirit of song
So lifelong I shall be carrying songs
On the saga of Poyus-Falgun
Entailing laughing and crying?
Is this why my sleep fled away?
Breaking my mental barrier
Mad wavy wind is brushing
The ever-suffering pain of forest
Light, darkness of day and night
Have also been trembling
Is this why Thou offered me?
Garland soaked in spirit of song

Due to the negligence of day
Night has not found its home
And I didn’t get time off amid
My busy workless schedules
Alas! Where is peace for me?
Amidst this entire universe
My Bina only sings when
My sorrows hit its strings
This soul-burning fire of songs
Will be here forever
Is this why Thou offered me?
Garland soaked in spirit of song
