Tagore Song (#52) I Want Thy Garland By Night’s End Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (#52) I Want Thy Garland By Night’s End

(ovimaner bodole aaj nebo tomar mala)

Instead of me getting upset
I’m longing for Thy garland by night’s end
To end the spells of my sad tears
I just left my dim heart on the wayside
To receive Thy Sweet touch -
Thy calm feet for melting my heart
Please ablaze my dim heart by Thy love

My ego has the costliest collections:
I’m decorating my plate to offer Thee
My entire ego-collection
For collecting Thy garland by night’s end
Ending my sad spells of tears

Very touching and melancholic poem with the light of hope shining beneath it's surface. A beautiful image of a tearful life being touched by divine love. A very inspiring and hopeful poem/song. Thank you, Tushar. RoseAnn
