Tagore Songs (#66) Beg To Keep The Gifts I Got When Born - Poem by Tushar Ray

(Ja peyechhi prothom dine sei jeno pai seshe)
I beg to conserve the same gifts
I was given to when born
So I can hug this universe
Like a baby with my both arms

I hope to resign in simplicity
Offering my assets in due adoration
For awaiting where all answers meet

I wish my eyes could see this Person
Without having to search Him anywhere
This Person living nearest to me
Just to feel His touch at all times

Before parting I wish to tell Him
Whose bosom I am enjoying since born
I feel so blessed for allowing me love Him!
