Take A Good Look

Take a good look at Jesus Christ
Give Him more than a glance
He can arrange your future swift
Even by death perchance
What a blessed consolation
To know you're heaven bound
And live in the glorious light of the gospel
What better for treasure is found

A soul at rest and satisfied
Ready to meet its Maker
Sin's forgiven exalting Christ
Who is sin's true Forgiver
The fear of death has lost it's grip
On each believing one
And Resurrection power is ours
Our Father, our Spirit, our Son

That look of faith unto the Lamb
The Lamb for sinner's slain
Assures us of eternal hope
When we are born again
And children of God we become
When trusting in the Lord
And our life as eternal as
Our Saviour's precious Word

Don't just trust that it will be old age
To bring you to your end
You never know what might be ahead
When your coming around a bend
Or sickness calls and says "come home"!
We know it's a reality
Take a good look at Jesus Christ
And seeing you will see!
