Take Me Back

I remember those days
When the Christian did praise,
When dem special dem ways.
Someone tell me:

Way them days gone?
We ah need dem!
Come my brethren, make Jesus your friend.

Remember those problems,
Him ah rid dem!
Remember you family,
Him ah free dem!
Your situation,
Him clear dem!

You dirty life,
Him dun clean dat.
Your thin pocket, trust me!
Him gwan make that fat.

Dear Jesus, we ah need you,
Without you, nutting we cah do.

Why worry.

Living for him, there is No Sorrow.
Me plate done fill for Tomorrow.

We ah praise you, Because we need to,
From the spirit
We want please you.

God come fill us,
For you we thirst!
I mean it's so bad,
It's a righteous lust!

I remember those days
When the Christian did praise,
When dem special dem ways.
Way them days gone?
We ah need dem!
Come my brethren, make Jesus your friend.
