Take me back

Take me back
As I want to stake
The claim for childhood days
"Show me the way" I prayed

It rushes on my mind's screen
Same kind of joy is never seen
What a cry to demand for!
And given everything for feeling sad and sore

Mother moving her hand
Till I sleep at the end
Her affection and words
I took it as that of lord

What a heavenly atmosphere!
Everything at disposal without feeling of fear
Slowly, slowly I came to realize
How happily parents gazed at me

I prayed God daily
Don't make me orphan from parental cover
I shivered from unknown fear
I used to slide near mother

Why parents were working so hard?
I never heard getting them angry
Always petted my back and smiled
They always encouraged me to lead forward
