'' Take That And The Message It Sends '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Take That And The Message It Sends ''

This understanding,
Can be so demanding,
Especially when you know that it's wrong,
Together they're banding,
It's ever expanding,
It's not where I want to belong.

Steal from me,
I'll set you free,
That's what they'd have you believe,
I'd let them see,
I do not agree,
From others you shouldn't ever thieve.

This fantasy ideal,
Though it has appeal,
In reality you are being uncouth.
It's totally surreal,
To expect to repeal,
Those scum who hide from the truth.

The politically correct,
Are akin to a sect,
Where it's their way and don't dare protest,
They ignore respect,
Which is total neglect,
The dictate they always know best.

To forgive is divine,
Everything's fine,
The fact is when I know it's not,
I'd rather decline,
Those choices are mine,
That reality some have forgot.

You must love all,
Life is a ball,
Your enemies you will make your friends,
If mine were to fall,
I'd watch them crawl,
