April dances on its toes, ready to leap over the bridge.
Summer holds the rim of her dress and dances just the same.
As April raindrops fall with an abandoned plop,
Waiting for the day it has always waited for.
The day the rainbow touched the sea and bridged
The teardrops that once left for another shore
Only to pour like never before,
As summer danced as never before, so unrestricted
I took my lover's hand and said, take your foot off the brakes.
And open your eyes.
This is what we were both born for.
We must bridge today with every summer day.
Walk a rainbow on all fours.
