Taken Poem by Tabitha abner

Taken

He holds her in his arms, her body so small.
As he witnessed her last breath, his first tear falls.
On her cheek so blue, he covers up the bruise.
In the stranged street, unable to even speak.
So hard to breathe, his little angel was taken.

The night of his prom, his world became a thick fog.
As he drove across the bridge, the car took a skid.
All he saw were headlights, that faded into the night.
Her body lying still, motionless in his arms.
She was taken as the night turned into day.

In the hospital that night, she lost her life.
With a battle of cancer, no answer out of her.
His hands in hers, he couldn't say goodbye.
As he laided across her chest, he cried.
He held her for the last time, she was taken.
