Taken Back - Poem by nicole salvato

im feeling brainwashed
by the sound of your voice
or maybe hypnotized
by the words you speak
you step foreward and i step too
you stand still and there i stand...
you got me hanging by the tinest of threads
being caught up in the words you speak lead me
to believe all your lies. sad part is
i still wanna stand still hang on and believe
