I wanted to talk to you
Ask some questions probably
Then your phone rang
You went away skipping happily

I try to call you again and again
But it always says you are busy
I sigh in disappointment
Talking to you has never been easy

Look at me
Give me some attention
You have not been home
Since long not to mention

The distance we had started growing
When I was still a child
Now the gap has become severe
In the beginning it was mild

Just talk to me
For once take the lead
Do you ever realize
You are the one whom I most need

Don't look that way
Just for once see
Just spend a moment
Trying to talk to me
