Synthetic Smile Poem by Miss Grace

Synthetic Smile

Rating: 5.0

I sit when they saw
Stand when they too
I obey them
My black eyes turn blue

A synthetic smile
Quietening cries
I obey them
Heart filled with despise

Forgiveness is something
They shall not get
My fake smile is gonna
Make them all regret

A heart filled with hatred
And a face with a smile
I am not what I seem
Intentions all vile

Life is no longer as simple as it seemed! It has tuned into a heap of faked smiles, feigned interests and pretentious nothingness. But, such acts are harmful to one's self. Hatred is what one develops against oneself. Simple poem written in profound emotions

Synthetic smile. Your poem isn't synthetic. It carries life. Nice work
