Tears And Pain Poem by ESPN CHICK

What do you see when you look into my eyes?
Do you see these tears that I've hidden?
Even though I've cried a million tears
There is still tears behind my eyes

Waiting to fall
But I want to be strong
Not letting these emotions show
But I can't control these tears

Cause slowly they steadily start to fall
And the next thing I know
I am crying myself to sleep
Dreaming my life away

Cause there is no where else I'd rather be
Then be in my dream world
Dreaming of the life I want
Cause there is too much pain in this world I'm living in

In the real world there is no where to run to
No where to escape this place
No one to lean on
But in dream world I can be anyone and go anywhere

And when I am in dream world
I don't ever want to wake up
Cause I feel so alive
And I feel like that's where I want to be

And all the pain and tears I cry
They don't mean anything
These scars tell a story
But you don't need to know it

You'll say things that I don't need to hear
You see these tears fall
Then immediately think somethings wrong
Even though you don't care about me when these tears don't fall

You don't feel this pain I'm feeling
You don't see why I cry
Thanks to you
You are part of this pain

That's why I wish this life was a dream
So I could wake up and not dread a single day
I could actually walk around with a smile on my face
And it would actually be real and not fake

Wouldn't be nice if you knew how I felt
But you would still act the same
Cause you never been through this
So you will never know why I cry or feel this pain I'm feeling
