Tears are falling from my eyes,
as I sit and cry at night. Blood is dripping from my heart as I try to write, I have so much pain, I'm just falling apart, I can't explain all this, I'm hurting a lot. I don't know where to start and I don't know where to end. Love hurts so much like a thousand stabbing knives, especially when you have all this pain you wish you can deny, I'm so sore right now, my heart is racing fast, you told me love is happy, but now I'm sitting here with all this pain. I don't understand these tears are falling from my eyes I cry make this pain just go away.
I disagree with Chinedu. The heartache is often overwhelming and you should try to go deeper to describe it than saying it hurts a lot. I know words can't fully describe the emotional torment of lost love, but just saying it is painful and it made me cry, makes it sound more like a stubbed toe. Reach deep, Jen, go beyond the cliché and bare your soul through poetry' Peace
In some unpleasant stories of love, we see tragedies in bliss of love. Love is a spiritual experience, it's also whimsical and temperamental, coming unannounced and may leave without warning. A nice piece of poetry, well articulated, nicely encapsulated and insightfully penned from inner recesses of the heart. A good poem indeed. Thanks for sharing.
