Tears Held In Pockets Like Treasures Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Tears Held In Pockets Like Treasures

Blues coming in touch with an intense sadness that has never
left this poet's heart through the years, tears held within
pockets like treasures of the past.

Love was always there in family members from birth, then
being moved far from them all when so young, a travesty to
a young child who'd been so close to them.

Never forgetting that moment, that last good-bye of tears
still lying in this photographic memory all these years, a
memorial, a tribute to Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
