Tell Me And I Will Listen Poem by Antonio Liao

Tell Me And I Will Listen

Rating: 5.0

tell me and you will hear me, talk to me
and you will know me, say nothing then
the whole day, waste my day

talk to me, you have something to recall
my presence and will lead you to know
more about me; for not all the time the
memory will linger in your hand

taught my inequities and guide my way,
not that i'm perfect that i need nothing,
nor i have nothing that I can't give

till we meet again, know my faults my
lapses, even my death makes me fine; as
i'm luck and happy for the joy i receive
is nothing than a special love of honesty

tear my sinfulness and save my weary
soul, the heart i take brings my own
vanity and i doom to stay in the fire of
hell forever i lay

take time to open my heart, though the
droplets is falling and the ground is
waiting to swallow my soul, yet! i'm still
alive, wanting to live in your willing hand
of mercy....amen
