Temporary Phase Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Temporary Phase

Rating: 5.0

The clouds were over cast
The sun had just become past
Night was set in to rule over land
I was gloom and desperately needed friend

Something bothered me a lot
Thousands of ideas entered the mind and fought
Each clashing with one another to over impose
I remain silent and do nothing to suppose

Yes it may rain shortly with full force
I was down bodily and with full of remorse
Something was really hurting me deeply
I feared a lot but preferred to face sadly

The past memories don't allow me to sit
I go back in past, see the characters and greet
They were all dear to me and acted very close
I had some affinity with them and purposely chose

The clouds are trying to discharge their load
The sky is illuminated and spread very broad
I love those heavy sounds as it was closely associated
Now those memories are definitely recreated

I want to come out of it and look cheerful
One should not carry it till end and remain fearful
It is part of life and must stay as memory
One may either feel happy or sorry

I know for sure that happiness is temporary phase
One may come across any time the dreaded bad face
If one is prepared to face it bravely
It may not cut much ice as faced successfully

Dear Sir, I am reminded of the Ode: Intimations of Immotality From Recollections of Early Childhood' by William Wordsworth, when I read your line, Now those memories are definitely recreated. The word 'Recollectons', used by Wordsworth, is similar to the word memories' used in your poem. A fine poem. You think of the past which you could not forget; likewise, Wordsworth recollects his childhood days. With regards, K. Sadasivan, Chennai Aug 03,2012

Phase of Life and Memory Danuw Rachman4 minutes ago someone ever told me when i was hopeless, losing, and desperate... he said Life keeps on moving, and time is always running... there will be the time when someone must stand like a crag crushing the wave and facing storm in his life... and that storm will remain as a thing we keep in mind and remember... and that's the depiction of memory... R.A Kartini created a book entitled habis gelap, terbitlah terang (come a light after dark) .... life is just like that. :) thank you again for sharing sir... :) Comment +1 didn't mind it
