Those who served the country
Before are gone and dead
Never again will they return
War has brought death and
Dislocation upon us
Depriving many of their property
Making men and women
Fall a victim of circumstance
Not measuring the value they worth
But struggling for survival
See what war has done to us
Making people homeless
And becoming a refugee
in their own country
Separating the families
Children cry in anguish
Father forget his children
In the war front
Escaping for his dare life
Only the beginning is being seen
the end no one could tell
Oh war! How I wish
It never happened
When we our nation be great
When we our boarder extend
Leaving the memory to tell.

very poignant and touching captures thoughts perfectly into words
This poem is really amazing as its very touching and also every word describes the pain of destiny. Enjoyed reading it.
How sad that you have not only witnessed this but are still living through it, may the expression of poetry continue to hold caring and healing properties for you.
War is the most evil deed of mankind. History will ever remember and the coming generation will certainly abuse for this evil deed.
i like it and i wish war wasnt neccesary but it is some of the time very good thought you did great shorty
I wish the war would end and the violent behavior will cease. Great point-of-view and a very nice poem.
This poem easily rivals mine of the same title and type... Very good show! Hope you read my version and remember this hint... I've voted on this TEN!

I would like to translate this poem
i'm glad i'm not the only one opposed to war and i guess that makes us 'poetical anti-war activists' if there's anything like that.
